Hunt the Tangarine

• You will need: tangerines and a kitchen timer.
• Each player has a tangerine.
• One player is sent out of the room and the others hide their tangerines.
• Once all the tangerines have been hidden, the player outside is called back into the room and the timer is set for 5 minutes.
• Within this time the player who has been outside has to find as many of the hidden tangerines as possible.
• Those who have hidden the tangerines have to help the ‘seeker’ by calling out Christmassy hints as to whether he or she is ‘cold’ or ‘hot’: “Frosty the Snowman!” when they are nowhere near, for example, or “Lovely hot mince pies!” when they are getting close.
• They should call louder whenever the seeker is getting close to their tangerine and more softly whenever he or she is moving further away from it.
• Each time a tangerine is found everyone shouts “Merry Christmas!”

The player who finds the most tangerines within the 5 minutes is the winner.
