Zena's and Connie's and Lily's Pancake Recipe
- best pancakes ever!
1. Get an adult to help you
2. The batter (best with organic ingredients)
- 90 grams of wheat flour
- 150 ml. cream
- 150 ml. milk
- 2 eggs
- A tiny pinch of salt
- Vanilla
- Rind of one lemon, finely grated
- Butter for cooking
3. This is what you do:
- Stir flour, salt, cream and milk together
- Add vanilla and lemon peel, add the eggs, mix to a smooth batter. The batter should be thin enough to pour easily from a large spoon or ladle.
- Heat the pan – and be careful because it’s very hot
- Put butter in the pan
- Pour a spoonful of batter into the pan and make sure that it spreads evenly
- Keep a good eye on the pan to make sure the pancake doesn’t burn
- Flip the pancake over very carefully and cook the other side
- Serve with clotted cream or whipped cream and jam – or whatever you like.
